CLUE: “ROUTE INFO: To celebrate the silver anniversary of ‘The Amazing Race’, find the location where the first season of ‘The Amazing Race’ served as the first starting line of the ‘race’ where you’ll cast your U-Turn Vote for the upcoming U-Turn in this leg of the race before you can get your next clue.

ROUTE INFO/PROCEED TO: Central Park
PHIL: “Teams must figure out that the very first starting line of the first season/Season 1 of ‘The Amazing Race’ is in Central Park at ...
ROUTE INFO/PROCEED TO: Bethesda Fountain (Central Park)/CAUTION: U-Turn Vote (Poll) ahead!!!

ROUTE INFO/PROCEED TO: Cafe Uhl Schneeballen
PHIL: Teams must make their way to Cafe Uhl Schneeballen and find Rick Steves (who is waiting outside of the cafe), who’ll give them their next clue.
CLUE: “ROADBLOCK: Who can cook under pressure?

ROADBLOCK: Who can cook under pressure?”
PHIL: “This Roadblock gives the team the opportunity to learn how to cook and prepare one of Rothenburg’s sweet pastries: ‘Schneeball’. One team member must cook 60 Schneeballens (10 cinnamons, 10 chocolates, 10 caramels, 10 hazelnuts, 10 lemons, and 10 strawberries)... what teams also don’t know is that once they have finished making 60 Schneeballens, they must eat all of them before receiving their next clue.
CLUE: “DETOUR: ‘Dance’ or ‘Decorate’. ...

DETOUR: “Dance” or “Decorate”
PHIL: “This Detour gives teams the opportunity to experience one of Rothenburg's traditional holiday traditions ...

DETOUR: “Dance”
PHIL: Back in 1517, the Rothenburg Guild of Shepherds had the privilege of its own ‘city holiday’: it was allowed to be celebrated in public with plenty of music, drinks, feasts, and above all, exuberant dancing. Until now, this tradition of the Rothenburg Shepherd’s Dance has been brought back to life since 1911.
DETOUR: “Dance”
PHIL: ‘Dance’: requires teams to make their way to Market Square (Marktplatz), where they'll have to wear old traditional clothes, and perform and memorize Rothenburg’s traditional ‘Shepherd’s Dance’. Once the judge is satisfied with their dance, they can get their clue from the judge.

DETOUR: “Decorate”
PHIL: Christmas is always just right around the corner here in Rothenburg and
it’s also the original idea of the Christmas Tree where it truly originates
here in Germany ...
DETOUR: “Decorate”
PHIL: ‘Decorate’: requires teams to find The Night Watchman who will give them a Christmas greetings card with a picture drawing of a Christmas tree on it, ...”
PHIL: ... and they'll have to make their way to this German Christmas Museum ...
PHIL: ... where they’ll change into Santa’s Working Elves outfits and get a large Christmas tree, ...
PHIL: ... and they’ll have to go to Käthe Wohlfahrt beside the German Christmas Museum to ...
PHIL: ... collect Christmas decorations that are described in their Christmas card; ...
PHIL: ... then they’ll have to decorate the Christmas tree with the Christmas decorations they got from Käthe Wohlfahrt ...
PHIL: ... and replicate them according to the picture it’s shown on their Christmas greeting card, ...
PHIL: ... once they got the correct Christmas decorations on their Christmas tree, they must show it to The Night Watchman ...
PHIL: ... where he’ll hand over their clue. If not, they’ll have to start all over again.”

CLUE: “ROUTE INFO: Make your way to St. Jacob’s Church and search the grounds for your next clue. (NOTE: After completing either Detour task, teams had to wear their costumes for the remainder of the leg.)”

ROUTE INFO/PROCEED TO: St. Jacob’s Church
PHIL: Teams must make their way to St. Jacob’s Church and search the grounds for their next clue.

ROUTE INFO/PIT STOP: Double Bridge
PHIL: “Teams must make their way to the Pit Stop: ‘Double Bridge’. Built around 1330, this historic road bridge was used as part of a trade route from Augsburg to Würzburg, and it’s now the Pit Stop for this leg of the ‘race’. The last team to check in here ...
PHIL: ... maybe eliminated.”

BEHIND-THE-SCENES:
The reason why I’m remaking: “The Amazing Race (USA) Wishlist Route
IDEA #1: ‘Leg 1 (United States → Germany)’” is that the silver anniversary or
the 25th anniversary of “The Amazing Race” starts next year
and if they’re going to make a “silver anniversary (25th Anniversary)” of
“The Amazing Race (USA)”I want TAR: USA to have ...
... Unisphere at Flushing Meadows Park (was used as the finish line for Season 1 of “The Amazing Race”) as the starting line for the silver (25th) anniversary of The Amazing Race (USA) along with a public viewing of fans and audience at the starting line (just like they did in Seasons 25, 27 and 30) for this anniversary (although Flushing Meadows Park was visited in Season 25 of “The Amazing Race (USA)”, but I also want TAR to have Flushing Meadows Park as a
starting line for the anniversary of TAR) ...
... and Central Park’s Bethesda Fountain (which was also used as the starting line of the 1st Season of “The Amazing Race”) for the U-Turn Vote Poll; ...
... and also like I always said before in my previous blog, I really want
The Amazing Race (USA/US) to visit Rothenburg ob der Tauber is because of the anime TV series: “A Little Snow Fairy Sugar/Sugar: A Little Snow Fairy (which is called in the Philippines) I've watched this since I was a kid
in 2006/2000s (as part of my Batang 2000’s), ...
Anime: Muhlenberg (left) and Real-Life: Rothenburg ob der Tauber (right)
... I really wanted them to visit locations that were seen in the anime“A Little Snow Fairy Sugar” which was based on the real-life locations in Germany,
like this town called Muhlenberg (which was based on the town:
Rothenburg ob der Tauber in Bavaria, Germany) ...
Anime: ??? Bridge (left) and Real-Life: Double Bridge/Doppelbrücke
in German (right)
... and this bridge from the anime itself (which was called Double Bridge
(or Doppelbrücke in German) in real life), ...
... and it’s not just real-life anime locations in Germany, there’s also real-life German tradition and food that the creators and producers of A Little Snow Fairy Sugar got (almost) inspired from, like this traditional German dance in the anime (see left above) and the real-life Rothenburg’s traditional dance:
“The Shepherd’s Dance (see right above), ...
... let’s not forget Muhlenberg’s Waffles (see left above) and Rothenburg’s Schneeballens (which the A Little Snow
Fairy Sugar creators/producers got inspired from
(Muhlenberg’s Waffles in ALSFS), I think?) (see right above); ...

... and it's not just all when remaking “... Wishlist Route IDEA #1:
‘Leg 1 (United States → Germany)’ I have to change the graphics
into current US graphics (from the show itself), ...
... and I have to make a few changes for the design leg, like:
the starting line: Flushing Meadows Park in New York City
(with a public viewing) rather than Silver Springs State Park
in Florida (it's because to celebrate the 25th Anniversary
or Silver Anniversary of “The Amazing Race”), ...
... the U-Turn Vote (Poll) Board in Cafe Uhl Schneeballen was moved to
Central Park's Bethesda Fountain, ...
... the regular clue box in Rödertor Gate was replaced with a U-Turn Vote (Reveal) Board or the U-Turn Vote (Reveal) Board in St. Jacob’s Church was moved to Rödertor Gate instead, ...
... the Find German School Girl (someone who dressed/cosplayed as
Saga Bergman) in Cafe Uhl Schneeballen thing/task was changed into Find Rick Steves (who is an American travel writer and TV personality) outside Cafe Uhl Schneeballen to avoid copyright (I'll tell you why I chose Rick Steves
for this leg of the race for later on), ...
... the “Who wants to crave?/Eat 60 Schneeballen roadblock task was changed into “Cook & Eat 60 Schneeballen task and title: “Who can cook
under pressure?” for this leg’s Roadblock because ...

... I was expecting the eating 60 schneeballens Roadblock task to be like Season 7, Episode 3 of The Amazing Race’s Argentine Feast/
Who is not a vegetarian?Roadblock task thing ...

... but eating the schneeballen thing might be too easy, so I have to additionally put “cooking the schneeballen” with the eating it to make it more challenging; ...

... the “Details” detour task (which involves “snapping six photos around Rothenburg to match the six artists’ drawings”) was changed to:
“Decorate”, involving decorating a Christmas Tree according to the
Christmas Greetings Card (to make the Detour tasks to focus on
Rothenburg's traditional holiday tradition) ...
... I’ve just watched an episode of a travel documentary TV series called:
“Rick Steves’ Europe” on Rothenburg ob Tauber, Germany, where American travel writer and TV personality Rick Steves talks about a famous
Christmas Museum in Rothenburg along with a Christmas shop beside it which you can visit anytime, and it’s perfect for my “Decorate” detour task (with the German Christmas Museum and Käthe Wohlfahrt Christmas Shop) as part of my design leg (check the video below, along with a video about “Rothenburg ob Tauber”)and thatwhy I want Rick Steves to make a special guest appearance on this silver/25th anniversary
of “The Amazing Race”, ...
Rick Steves’ Europe - Season 2 (2002), Episode 12: “Germanys Romantic Rhine and Rothenburg” [ROTHENBURG (1/4)]:
Rick Steves’ Europe - Season 2 (2002),
Episode 12: “Germanys
Romantic Rhine and Rothenburg”
[ROTHENBURG: Christmas (2/4)]:
Rick Steves’ Europe - Season 2 (2002),
Episode 12: “Germanys Romantic Rhine
and Rothenburg” [ROTHENBURG:
The Night Watchman - PART ONE (3/4)]:
Rick Steves’ Europe - Season 2 (2002),
Episode 12: “Germanys Romantic Rhine and Rothenburg” [ROTHENBURG: The Night Watchman - PART TWO (4/4)]:
Or Watch “FULL EPISODE” of
Rick Steves’ Europe - Season 2 (2002),
Episode 12: “Germanys Romantic Rhine
and Rothenburg”:

... and it's not just the famous Christmas museum and shop in Rothenburg, FUN FACT: the Christmas Tree originated in Germany (and I have to search it on Google and type: “Which country is the Christmas tree originated from?”, ANSWER: “Germany”); ...

... and finally Route Info/Proceed To (location name): “St. James’s Church”
was changed to St. Jacob’s Church.

BONUS:
The image of New York or the Statue of Liberty in the opening was used in
Seasons 1-2 intro of “The Amazing Race Australia” (see below). ...

... the U-Turn Vote Board I’ve made (see above) for this design leg is that I used the U-Turn Vote Board design from “The Amazing Race Canada” (the Canadian version of “The Amazing Race”), well, I cannot make a vector version of the Canadian U-Turn Vote Board because I didn’t a good shot on the U-Turn Vote Board (Canadian Version) or I didnt watch the full episode of Season 10 of TAR: Canada in Episode/Leg 3 (British Columbia); so what I did is cut out the Canadian U-Turn Vote Board design using Photoshop (blurred the Canadian teams’ faces) and stick onto two clue boxes or route markers, it's kinda like ...

... the U-Turn Vote Board in the Israeli, Australian (Seasons 1-2), and the Philippine version (I didn't want to use the one from the Philippine version (see right) like I used last time in my previous “Wishlist Route Idea/Design Leg” for the leg in Germany is because I don't put an activeTV or Israeli/Australian (S1-2)/Philippine design for this “TAR: USA Wishlist Route Idea/Design Leg” because I want it Westernize or make it American
for TAR: USA/US) ...

... I was going to place the U-Turn Vote and clue box in this position at Bethesda Fountain (see above), but the problem is that if I put the Route Info strap graphics on it, it would look like...
... this! So I moved the U-Turn Vote board on this position instead (see below); ...

... and finally, I have to use a dialogue where Phil talks/explains (not really, it's made up or it’s only a fan-made design leg only) the history of the
“Shepherd's Dance” for the “Dance” detour from this website
(but I also have to alter the dialogue for Shepherd's Dance,
so it won't be the same description from the site itself):
